Director of Property Management
Ben Boykin is a commercial real estate professional with experience in commercial property management and brokerage. As Director of Property Management with The Wilton Companies, Ben oversees the day-to-day operations of the company’s commercial real estate portfolio, which includes roughly 3 million square feet of office, retail, and industrial properties. His responsibilities include property operations, budgeting, tenant and vendor relations, maintenance coordination, contract administration, and ensuring the company’s properties are maintained to the highest standards.
Prior to joining The Wilton Companies, Ben worked in third-party commercial property management, where he oversaw a diverse portfolio of medical office, traditional office, and retail properties. During this time, he worked with a variety of property owners, each with different investment strategies and operational priorities. This experience allowed him to tailor his management approach to each owner’s objectives while maximizing the performance of their assets. In addition to working directly with owners, Ben worked closely with tenants, vendors, and contractors on all aspects of property operations and maintenance.
Before moving into commercial property management, Ben worked in commercial real estate brokerage with a focus on office leasing and sales, while also working on retail and land assignments throughout the Richmond market. His brokerage experience provided a strong foundation in commercial real estate transactions and a practical understanding of how commercial leases are structured and negotiated.
While attending Hampden-Sydney College, Ben founded a real estate investment business focused on sourcing off-market properties, negotiating purchase contracts, and assigning those contracts to investors.
